Just hung around Huntington Beach today and Andrew prepared to go home. We saw American Pie 2 at the local cinema this afternoon and it was hilarious. Way better than the first one (though the original is compulsory viewing before the sequel) and it will be huge in Australia when it hits the cinemas there. Then dropped Andrew at the outskirts of LA-X (only buses, taxis, and hire cars are allowed in) four hours in advance where he caught a shuttle bus in. Andrew tells me checks were fairly stringent, with multiple ID checks and extensive hand luggage searching. He also tried to get through Kingsford Smith without declaring any of his purchases but that’s another story.
